Natural incense Palo Santo (Sacred Tree) is acreamy yellow piece of dried wood extracted from the naturally fallen, dead Bursera graveolens tree, which grows in the dry tropical forests of North America and Central America. The origins of the use of Palo Santo for incense date back to the traditions of the ancient Inca civilisations, where it was used in spiritual ceremonies. Beliefs indicate that the smoke brings good luck, drives away evil thoughts, happiness, as well as evil spirits.

How to use - how to smoke Palo Santo?

1. Take a ladle in your hand and light the end of it.
2. Maintaining the continuity of the flame, wait for the incense to begin to burn.
3. Take the incense and light it.
4. Wait for about 30 seconds and then extinguish the flame by blowing it out.
5. The incense will begin to smoke intensely.
6. If the incense is extinguished you can set it on fire again.

When the incense is finished, leave the incense on the ceramic or stone stand until it extinguishes on its own, or extinguish it if necessary. An extinguished Palo Santo can be set off sometimes.
